At Christian Valley we strive to make every guest a part of our family. We want you to feel at home the moment you arrive. Our greeters will offer you a warm and friendly welcome the moment you arrive.
Our worship service at Christian Valley is a blended mixture of hymns and praise songs. We are led by our youth and music minister, Duane Cooper, and a praise team each week. Our instruments range from the piano and keyboard, guitar and bass, and occasional electric drum. We strive to make your time of personal worship at Christian Valley as pleasant as possible!
Nursery
There is a fully staffed nursery located in the building. The nursery is for infants and toddlers. We also offer Children's Worship during the preaching service. Children from preschool through grade 3 will be dismissed from the sanctuary at the proper time. Our Children's Director, Jessica Pope, is in charge of the weekly Children's Worship.
Dress
What do I wear? The answer is, “whatever makes you comfortable.” You will find everything from business suits to casual wear to jeans and shorts in our worship service. We simply ask that you remember this is God's house, and appropriate, modest dress is requested.
Communion
At CVCC we offer communion to all who have professed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We celebrate communion on a weekly basis. Membership is not a requirement. We serve one another as we remain seated by passing the communion plate. Just take a piece of bread and cup of juice, replace the cup and pass the tray along. So, participation is at your discretion.
Giving
We offer a time of giving during each service. As a guest, please do not feel obligated to give. This time of giving is specifically for those who consider Christian Valley their church home.
